Local elections directly affect you so educate yourself and vote! Still cynical about voting? Visit a country like Laos, Vietnam, or China and it will change your perspective. I have been to them all … which is why I VOTE!

By the way, when it comes to federal politics I share the cynicism of many. Our “one person, one vote” has become “one dollar, one vote” and the corporations have a lot more dollars than we do. HOWEVER, at a local level voting still makes a HUGE and IMMEDIATE difference in your life. Educate yourself and VOTE!
