Kinobody Octane

Kinobody Octane

Recently some of my followers pointed out that Greg Ogallagher (Kidobody) took a screenshot from one of my videos and started talking crap about my neck.  I got curious about his products and started to dig and man, he’s nothing but another overpriced supplement pusher.  His “Octane” product is unnecessary for fitness and gains (but perhaps could be used if  you’re experiencing erectile dysfunction).  Watch my video or read below to learn more. This isn’t the first time I have had to cut him down a notch, the first time was for his ridiculous medical claims about intermittent fasting.

Kinobody Octane is an overpriced proprietary blend product that is irresponsibly hyped with unproven medical claims.  Buy Discount Octane at 1/10 the price!  Be an informed consumer!!!!  Don’t ask people if a supplement or food is “good”, find out for yourself!  First, google the list of ingredients, here it is:

kinobody-octane-ingredients

  • 100mg thiamin (B-1)
  • 0.3mg biotin (B-7)
  • 100mg sodium
  • 050mg potassium
  • 6.00g l-citrulline
  • 300mg eleutherococcus (ginsing)
  • 150mg caffeine
  • 100mg l-theanine

Now if you google all these ingredients, you will find that the first four ingredients are just useless filler you do not need.  The last three are stimulants that are no better than a cup of coffee. There is really just one active ingredient here, the l-citrulline. If you google it you will see it does seem to be a very mild aid to men with erectile disfunction, if viagra is a 10, this supplement is a 2. All this means is that it helps you get hard, it does NOT make you bigger! If you are a healthy teen or twenty something, it will do absolutely nothing for your size or hardness. If you are unhealthy then see a doctor! Erectile disfunction is caused by:

  • steroid use
  • smoking
  • alcoholism
  • clogged blood vessels
  • high cholesterol
  • high blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • obesity
  • lack of cardio
  • high stress

I will leave it to you to figure out which of these causes is why Gregg O’Gallager needs to use Octane.

Muscle building benefits of L-citrulline and Nitric Oxide

Now lets talk about the possible bodybuilding benefits of L-citrulline. Upon digestion, L-citrulline turns into L-arginine and nitric oxide. Nitric oxide has been around in the bodybuilding world since the 90s with products like No-Xplode which was a creatine plus NOX. Nitric oxide increases circulation which is why people feel a better pump when using it. The thing is, there is no good research in my opinion which shows that this pump translates into any concrete and long lasting benefits.

Be a smart shopper

IF you are going to buy supplements, don’t buy labels, buy ingredients. Decide what supplement you want to take and then buy it! In this example, the only two things in this product are caffeine and l-citrulline – everything else is worthless. BUY THOSE two ingredients. Instant coffee is dirt cheap, l-citrulline is dirt cheep. Recommended dose for bodybuilding is 6g/day, buy INGREDIENTS, not expensive overhyped products like Octane.

Bulk supplements l-citrulline is available thru Amazon for $34 for a 1kg sack (2.2lbs).

Cost Comparison for a 330 day supply

First lets just buy the l-citrulline from Amazon.  A 1kg bag which has 166, 6000mg servings costs $34.  For 330 days you need two bags for a total of $68.

A jar of Octane has 21 servings of 6000mg and costs $39.  For a 330 day supply, you need 16 jars which costs $624.

$624 or $68? You are literally paying 10x the price for his overhyped expensive garbage.
