youtube user sixpackshortcuts suspended

I applaud YouTube and their recent decision to suspend the user sixpackshortcuts. The reason given by YouTube on his page is:

“This account has been suspended due to a violation of YouTube’s policy against spam, scams and commercially deceptive content”

On his facebook page, he indicates that he has no idea why YouTube suspended their account. Well, here are a few possibilities why his account was suspended/removed. Its titles like his latest hit video:

“Lose 30 lbs in 30 days”.
Ask 100 doctors what they think of the title of that video and they will all say that it’s dangerous and irresponsible. Weight loss that fast is dangerous and should only be done in very limited situations and then, only under a doctor’s supervision. About the most you can safely reduce your caloric intake is 20% below your TDEE and that will result in 1-2 pounds per week of fat loss, no more. THAT is the maximum safe fat loss rate, not the 7 pounds a week that sixpackshortcuts was promising. He is not a doctor, he is not personally monitoring the people doing his 30/30 diet – its just irresponsible. Then take his video titled:
“Build a huge chest fast”

(or something similar), thats about as deceptive a claim as there is. Gaining muscle is a very slow process, period. It takes 3-7 years to develop anything that anyone would consider to be a “huge chest” and that certainly doesnt qualify as “build a huge chest fast”. The only way to build a “huge chest fast” requires the use of illegal drugs.
The other possibility why the account was suspended was for the thumbnails used. I notice there are a number of images used that are not only copyright violations but are unrelated to the videos content..
Again, I applaud YouTube and Google for suspending sixpackshortcuts account and I hope this will be a wake up call to other people who use ridiculous claims to sell their expensive eBooks, website subscriptions, and newsletters.

If you want to learn how to lose weight or gain muscle without spending a dime, please visit my free website, ScoobysHomeWorkouts.com. I dont make any ridiculous claims, I tell it like it is, and I dont recommend you buy anything except a used set of weights from craigslist and a pullup bar.
