Kris

This is Kris from Torrance California and he added 10 pounds of muscle in a year – look what a difference it made! 10 pounds may not sound like a lot but it makes a big visual difference. Couple this to the fact that when you lift naturally, you can continue to add 5-10 pounds a year for many years. I hope to see Kris on these success pages again next year with another 10 pounds on him! Congratulations Kris!

“Hey Scooby! You are my idol! I have been watching your videos on youtube since April 2010 and that’s when I decided to hit the weights and change my nutrition. You are a huge inspiration to me and I can’t thank you enough for giving out all your free tips and advice on lifting weights and nutrition. You are a good man! I have watched all of your videos that you have uploaded on youtube and I have incorporated your philosophy into my workouts. I basically followed your advanced workout routine on your website (under workout plans, advanced plan) five days a week. I would do chest on Monday, back on Tuesday, legs on Wednesday, shoulders on Thursday, and biceps and triceps on Friday. My workouts would last between 30-45 minutes. I would rest on Saturday and Sunday. As far as the amount of weight I lifted, sets, reps and rest time in between sets, I followed your workout regimen on your website under workout plans, S61XL mass gain plan. I would always do three sets of everything. First week I would lift heavy from 3-5 reps with 2 minutes rest in between sets. Second week I did the traditional 8 reps with 1 minute rest in between sets. Third week I did the hybrid workout with the first 2 sets with heavy weight from 3-5 reps with 2 minutes rest in between sets. The last set I would do around 12 reps with only 30 seconds rest in between sets. The fourth and final week I followed your exact same S61XL workouts. I always do all exercises very slowly and controlled and I adjusted the weight so that I would struggle on the very last rep! On the nutrition side I would eat 5-6 times a day and eat every 3 hours. I freed my mind in thinking that food doesn’t need to always taste good and if it does, it probably has too much sugar, salt or artificial flavor. I would eat a lot of brown rice, white and sweet potatoes, lean chicken breast, steak, eggs (no yolk), oatmeal (no artificial flavors), vegetables, salads, kidney and soy beans, lentils, peanut butter ( just nuts), whole wheat bread, non fat milk and non fat yogurt, whey protein from optimum nutrition, etc. I got used to reading all nutritional labels so I won’t be fooled by all the marketing tactics. I drank only water and got about 7-8 hours of sleep every night. When I kept seeing progress, I kept going and going and I will continue to lift and eat well! I got many compliments from friends and family along the way! I am very energetic and I feel like I’m always in a good mood and I’m definitely loving life! My confidence has grown tremendously. Thanks again Scooby! You are the best!”
