Contact Scooby
Although I am still very active in fitness behind the scenes enhancing my fitness tools like CustomMealPlanner and adding content to my website scoobysworkshop, I have retired from the public side of fitness to free up time to pursue my passion for adventure travel and aviation. I will no longer be answering fitness questions on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, by PM, or by email. If you need fitness questions answered, I suggest the following:
- Fitness and Bodybuilding questions. I have spent 20 years writing over 1,700 pages of information about bodybuilding and fitness on my website scoobysworkshop. If you want to know my advice fast and free then google “Scooby + YourSearchTerms” and it will tell you my advice on the subject!!! I find that over 90% of the questions people ask me on YouTube can be answered this way. For example, to find what I think about intermittent fasting, google “scooby intermittent fasting“.
- Nutrition questions. I spent three years of my life teaching my AI software at custommealplanner.com everything I know about nutrition to make meal plans that optimize for muscle gain, fat loss, and health. If you want to know what I think of your meal plan then compare it to the free ones that CustomMealPlanner produces. If your meal plan differs then I believe it is less optimal for muscle gain, less optimal for fat loss, less optimal for health, or some combination of those. If you want to know why it is inferior then enter it into CustomMealPlanner using the custom meals and custom recipes feature and the system will analyze the meal plan and tell you what needs improvement for muscle gain, fat loss, and health.
- Use the public library. If you cannot find an answer to your question for free by googling, then try your local public library. Books are free to check out and the information there might be a bit out of date BUT it has the huge advantage of being real information and not some slick sales pitch disguised as “science”. Be very wary of getting your information from the internet for this reason, and if you do, make sure to understand the qualifications and motivations of those giving you advice.
- Ask the popular fitness YouTubers. There are a lot of great fitness YouTubers whose business is to produce daily videos, ask them! Most of these folks have paid staff whose job it is to interact with fans and answer their questions.
- Ask Scooby. If you can’t find your answer any of those ways then you can join sweat4health ($39/mo) and ask me there. When access to me was so easy, people would not bother to look for the answer for themselves, they would just ask me. Putting myself behind the firewall at sweat4health is my way of still being available to people who seriously need advice but weeding out the people who have not taken the time to google. Consider the $39 a donation for all the free information I have provided over the last 15 years.
