English Teacher Needed

English Teacher Needed In Hussainabad

I believe in giving back, not only in bodybuilding as I have with my free videos, forum and website but in other ways as well. Most of us are much better off than 90% of the other people on this planet and I try in my own little way to make a difference. My current cause is not a plea for money, its a plea for your time – the village of  Hassainabad needs an English teacher for 3 months.  If you have some experience teaching English and have an adventurous spirit then there is a village in Gilgit-Baltistan that needs your help.  Without English the residents of this village will not be able to get any skilled work so learning it is vital to their existence.  They need someone who will commit to 3 months and I could guarantee that you would benefit just as much from this experience as the village would.  I personally know Dermot who is the owner of RedSpokes travel company and he is one of the finest people on this planet. Their core value of his cycling travel company is to give back to the communities that their tours pass thru – a shining example of responsible tourism.  Please if you think you might be interested in teaching english here, email Dermot at [email protected](.)co(.)uk  If you want to support RedSpokes charity efforts without going to Gilgit-Baltistan, consider giving to their the JustGiving Laotian Village Community Fund.  If you are interested, check out these videos which give you an idea where the village is and what your life would be like there.  If you volunteer to teach English over there, I will come visit you!

Here are some recent organizations I have supported in the past:

COPE (Cooperative Orthotic and Prosthetic Enterprise)

The USA dropped 90,000,000 cluster bombs in Laos/Thailand during the Vietnam war and 30% of these bombs didn’t explode. These unexploded ordinance (UXO) continue to maim hundreds of people each year even nearly four decades after the war. COPE is an amazing organization that provides free replacement limbs and support to these people giving them the ability to provide for themselves and their families. Because COPE does the work themselves, they can provide limbs for incredibly small amounts of money. Donating $75 can provide someone a leg, here in the US, that wouldn’t even cover the cost of painting the limb! Donate a leg and I will donate one too! For US citizens, the best way to donate to Cope is thru the US non-profit, Global Development Group – your donation is 100% tax deductible. Even a small donation can make a HUGE difference!

LifeCycle

A great 7 day charity ride I did last year from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
